EMAIL SETUP: ENTOURAGE
The examples in this tutorial use "mail.domain.com" as the
POP and SMTP servers. When setting up your email account, use your
Web site's domain name in place of "domain.com". For example,
if your domain name is "joesgarage.com" then your
mail servers would be "mail.joesgarage.com". Your
email address would be "yourname@joesgarage.com".
1. Open Entourage and go to File -
New - Email Account.

2. Choose Account type POP
and click "OK."

3. Type in an Account name
to describe the account. Put your name in the Name
field and your email address in the E-mail address
field.
Your Account ID is your ENTIRE email address.
Your POP server is
mail.domain.com (where domain.com is your Web site
domain name).
Your SMTP server is
mail.domain.com (where domain.com is your Web site
domain name).
Note: Your ISP may require you to use a different
SMTP server. Click here for more
information.
Click the "Click here for advanced
sending options" button to set SMTP server
properties.

4. Check the "SMTP server requires
authentication" checkbox.
Choose "Log on using."
Type your ENTIRE email address into the
Account ID field.
Type in your password.
Click the box at the upper left-hand corner
of the window to close and save settings.

5. On the Edit Account screen, click
OK to save and exit setup.
